Parker-Tube Fittings Division hand tube
cutters are designed to make uniform clean square cuts easier and with
the least possible burrs. Hand Tube Cutters use a built-in deburring
blade on each cutter for removal of any I.D. burrs.
Saws
Parker's Tru-Kut® saw vise is designed for
providing an accurate guide for cutting tube square within ±1° with a
hacksaw. For higher production, Parker also offers the power 910461
power cut-off saw, which is designed to operate at low speed to prevent
work hardening the tube end. The saw will cut 1/4" through 2"
copper, brass, aluminum, steel and stainless steel tube. An adequate
supply of cutting fluid is provided by an internal recalculating pump.
The unit is designed for bench mounting and operates on 110v power
supply.
Deburr
Tools
A quick twist of the wrist will deburr either the O.D. or the
I.D. of the tube end. Parker’s In-Ex® deburring tools
can be used on annealed steel, stainless steel, copper and aluminum, for
tube sizes 1/8" to 1 5/8" O.D. Parker also offers
the 972125 Power Deburr Machine for medium production applications. This
machine operates on a 110V power supply and is for use on annealed
steel, stainless steel, copper and aluminum. For tube sizes 1/4"
through 2" O.D.
Wrenches
Easy access ratchet wrench speeds fitting installation in
tight locations. Rugged, snap-action jaws can be opened over tube lines,
locked onto fitting hex and ratcheted within 1/8 turn. Full six point
contact prevents fitting distortion common with wrench slippage. Ideal
for tube line installations where compact runs require a multiple
fitting make-up, disassembly and remakes. 360°s snap-action ratchet
wrench for hex sizes from 3/8" to 2 1/4" across the flats and
metric from 10mm to 22mm. Inch sizes meet government
specifications and are listed as NSN-5120-00-474-7227.
Tube Benders
Parker hand benders include built-in features to help you make
accurate bends without kinks or wrinkles and with minimum flattening in
tubing, from size 2 (1/8" O.D.) to 16 (1" O.D.). Parker’s
larger benders include manual and hydraulic models, to meet any
operating need for production or maintenance in the shop or in the
field. Accessories are available to handle bends in a variety of tubing
material from size 4 (1/4" O.D.) to size 32 (2" O.D.).
Flanging
Equipment
The Parflange® machines have been designed to
flange and flare tubing, specifically for use with Parker Seal-Lok
(O-ring face seal) and Triple-Lok (37° flare) fittings. See Bulletin
4390-1040 or 4390-1025 for more details.
Brazing
Equipment
Parker Seal-Lok fittings can be easily brazed by using Parker’s
Multi-Flame Torches.
Tube
Flaring Tools
Parker makes the right type and size of flaring tool to meet
the requirements of your job, from pocket-size hand flaring tools to
electric and hydraulically powered models. Each one is designed to help
you produce correct concentric flares, of the correct flare diameter,
for dependable joints that are free from pull out under high pressures.
Pre-setting
Tools
Parker Ferulok, EO and EO-2 fittings can be assembled more
readily by using either the Ferulset® or VOMO hand
pre-setter, the hydraulic powered Hyferset and Hydra-Tool or the
electric powered EOMAT III®. All five assembly tools
ensure strong, reliable ferrule pre-sets on the tubing.
Tube
Preparation Centers
Parker offers two types of Tube Preparation Centers: the TP432
and the TP1025. Both are designed for preparation required of tube ends
to be completed in one location. The TP432 performs four separate
operations: cutting, deburring, flaring for Triple-Lok fittings and
ferrule pre-setting for Ferulok, EO and EO-2 fittings. Four operations
can also be performed by the TP1025: cutting, deburring, flanging for
Seal-Lok fittings and flaring for Triple-Lok fittings.
Port
Tapping & Counterboring Tools
Taps are available for SAE J1926-1 and ISO 6149-1 female
straight thread ports in sizes 2 through 32 (M8 through M48). Taps are
bottoming type and made from high speed tool steel. Parker also offers
counterboring tools for SAE J1926-1 and ISO 6149-1 (small and large
spotface) female straight thread ports in sizes 2 through 32 and M8 to
M48.
Thread
Identification Tools
Parker offers a Thread Identification Kit to be used to
identify metric, BSP, SAE and NPT threads. It contains thread gauges,
calipers, thread profiles, and an instruction booklet. Also offered are
Portboards that can be used for identification of ISO, SAE, BSP and NPT
ports and port threads. They are machined with female threads for quick
and easy identification by screwing in the male port end.
O-Ring
Installation Tools
Parker’s O-ring Installation Kit contains a complete set of
tools for installing Parker O-rings ranging in size from size 3-902
through 3-932. Easy-to-follow instructions permit the proper fit the
first time. Each tool is sized to allow easy installation, while
preventing damage to the O-ring as it is passing over the threads. Good
for determining the size of O-rings as well. Also offered are Parker's
Captive O-Ring assembly tools for assembling o-rings in Seal-Lok
fittings. These tools are offered in both hand held and bench mountable
versions.
Lubricants
& Sealants
Lubricants act as friction reducers to ease assembly and
prevent galling, corrosion and seizing of components. Permatex
Anti-Seize lubricants are recommended for use with assembly of stainless
steel threaded components where galling may be a problem. Thread
sealants seal and secure metal pipes and fittings by filling the space
between the threaded metal parts. Thread sealants harden to prevent
leakage caused by vibration loosening, tape shredding, solvent
evaporation, damaged threads and temperature cycling.
Cleaners
Permatex Fast Orange waterless hand cleaners can be used to
remove grease, grime, paint, adhesives and other soils your working
hands get into. Fast Orange has added conditioners to prevent your hands
from cracking and drying out.
